Navigating the Tide

Ghana

Year: 2022

Ghana faces a critical junction in its environmental history, where millions of discarded water sachets and single-use plastics choke urban waterways, strain coastal ecosystems, and heighten flood risks.

Against this landscape of pollution, local entrepreneurs, community recyclers, and grassroots innovators are actively reshaping the narrative—turning a mounting waste crisis into a catalyst for sustainable, circular solutions.
